Sidney’s practice focuses on internal corporate investigations, white-collar criminal defense, and False Claims Act (FCA) litigation. She has tried white-collar criminal cases to acquittal in federal court, assisted clients with investigations conducted by government agencies, and carried out internal corporate investigations to identify regulatory or criminal concerns. This has included reviewing formation documents, employment contracts, and policies & procedures of health care providers, health care entities, pharmacies, and insurance companies to ensure compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute, STARK, the FCA, and the Travel Act. Sidney has represented clients in FCA litigation with claims ranging from $45 to $500 million. Since 2024, she has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for her work in Criminal Defense: White-Collar.

Sidney also has significant experience in the areas of commercial litigation, healthcare/medical malpractice litigation, and attorney malpractice litigation. She has handled both civil and criminal appeals in state and federal courts.

Sidney served as law clerk to the Honorable David C. Bramlette III, United States District Judge, Southern District of Mississippi.
